I drive up to a potential listing & say to myself, “ Great an Old World Charm Home in a fantastic & popular Seattle neighborhood. This will be an great listing to have and a snap to sell.” When I went inside the home was in immaculate shape with a recent remodel. Sounds good right! Wrong! In its remodel it had been somewhat de-charmed, carpet over hardwood, baby blue walls. Additionally the spaces did not flow. Ever the optimist I think “well it is still a great neighborhood and has a lot of character from the street, it will sell. Wrong! After a few months on the market and a couple of price reductions it still had not sold. I think to myself “it is time to call Katrina at Furnishments.” Within six hours of Katrina finishing her staging magic we had an offer. No more price reductions, no more market time.
